Co-Founder & CEO
Daniel’s passion for Lighting and Live productions began at a young age while he attended many concerts and events. He received a degree in Business Administration from Henry Ford College and a bachelor’s degree in both Business Studies and Communications at the University of Michigan. Recently, Daniel worked for Cedar Point’s Live Entertainment
as Production Supervisor and for Walled Lake School’s Performing Arts Center as an Assistant Manager and Lighting Designer. During his time at Cedar Point, Daniel decided to start Great Lakes Audio Visual with his friend Zach Cummins to pursue his passion to provide high quality design and production services to clients, while continuing to grow his background in business

Theater has been a passion of Zach’s since his childhood. Growing up performing on stage, he quickly found a passion for technical and backstage work. Zach studied Technical Theater at Youngstown State University and has received a Kennedy Center Award of Merit for his sound design in A Steampunk Christmas Carol. Zach has worked in many professional venues
including Cedar Point Live Entertainment, Akron Civic Theater, and Dance Dynamics Performing Arts Center along with many artist including User, Jordan Sparks, Chris Tomlin, Newsboys, Off-Kilter, and many more. Zach recently served as the Production Supervisor for Cedar Point Live Entertainment and has served as Technical Director for Walled Lake School’s Performing Arts Center. As his passion continued to grow, Zach founded Great Lakes Audio Visual, along with his friend Daniel, in hopes of providing high quality production experiences to clients while still providing personal attention and customization that every event needs.
stay current with new technology and study innovative ways of integrating various systems to enhance the production at hand. His diverse background allows him to work on systems from a simple set of two PARs to a huge stadium rig with multiple redundant networks. His notable credits include Diesel Club Lounge Pittsburgh, Michigan State University’s Munn and Breslin Centers, Carnegie Music Hall, IU Bloomington, and numerous others.
