Night to Shine

Great Lakes Audio Visual was honored to provide event production services for “Night to Shine”, a complementary event hosted by local churches around the world on a selected night for individuals ages 14 and up living with special needs. This year’s event took place on February 10, 2023 at “The Chapel” in Sandusky, OH.

Lightwave Entertainment provided Alyssa the DJ, a photo booth, karaoke, and a red carpet. Great Lakes Audio Visual supplied the lighting, which included:

- 10 Chauvet R2 Wash for color and movement in the indoor space
- 6 proteus hybrids to create a large scanning light effect outside
- A custom gobo with the “Night to Shine” logo
- 12 ETC color source spots to add gobo texture patterns on the ceiling
- 4 profile intelligent lighting fixtures to add movement above the dance floor
- Over 60 pinspots to light table centerpieces
- 100 uplights adding further color and depth to the walls.

A truss and rigging system was set up to fly lighting and video, along with a small LED video wall displaying the “Night to Shine” logo and a welcome video from Tim Tebow that was shown to all guests. Shure microphones and a JBL sound system were supplied for all audio needs.
